The Site

We have a terrific private location in rural New Lisbon that has a huge area for outdoor camping, many indoor bathrooms with private showers and much more. Just over an hour drive from Madison or La Crosse, 3 miles from I90-94 for easy access.
The site is several minutes from a grocery store, Subway, A&W, Kwik Trip and other local eateries including several pizza places that deliver and a restaurant specializing in authentic German food!
There are dormitory beds and beautiful modern rooms available for nightly rental on site. These rooms are separate from site fees and not part of the event, but they are on site so you won’t miss a thing. Room rates are aproxamatley $45 a night with rooms containting either two twins, full or queen sized beds. In addition dormatory rooms will be available at aproxameltly $10 a night. To reserve a room or dormitory bed or questions about the rooms, call the site, The Aquarian Garden, directly at 608-562-5433. If you get the machine mention "Rose Rises" in your message. Please note the rooms charges do not include site fee.
Firewood will be available onsite. Some firerings will also be available for our use!

Combat

We have more than enough space for heavy, rapier, archery and thrown weapons and will have them all, dependant on marshales. 
Heavy Weapons: Saturday Marshal in Charge is Count Stephen. Inspections start at 9am, tourneys to follow. First Tourney: Great Sword. Second tourney: Weapon and Shield. Followed by Melees until noone has any energy left to fight! Sunday Marshal in Charge, Sir Guenther Kegslayer-Schedule TBA

We have plenty of room for classes! So far we have lined up:
Event Stewarding for Beginners: taught by Matthias
Royal Rangling: taught by Matthias
Courtly Behaviour: taught by Seonag

In addition we are planning on a Heraldic Consulting Table, dancing, camp fires and much more!
Bardic Challenge! The theme will be announced 1 week before the event! The Bardic Challenge is sponsored by Lady Brilliana Barrington, 3 time Champion of The Autumn Rose Bardic Challenge.
We will also have a blacksmith on site for those interested in learning the fine art of black smithing!

Feast

Feast Saturday evening! Limited to 40! A Spanish extravaganza for the taste buds! $12.50 per person. Full menu with list of ingredients is below!

Before 8/24/12 - 18 and up $10. 5 to 17 $7.50. under 5 free. 
AFTER 8/25/12 18 and up $15. 5 to 17 $12.50, under 5 free
Camping fee: $10 per tent, $15. per travel trailer or motor home.
Non-member surgarge will apply! Only paid registration counts as paid re-registration!

The merchant fee is an item or items with a total retail value of at least $25.00, which will be put on the silent auction at That Moot Thingy XIII.

Aquarian Gardens had ALL their fire rings stolen. They will have some by the event, but bring either fire rings or portable fire pits if you have them. Fire wood will be available on site from Aquarian Gardens.

Just so everyone is aware, a skunk has been seen on site, along the path to the parking area.
